End of Pregnancy

Since I'm so close to the end sitting here twittling my thumbs (not literally-I've kept myself busy but still...) I thought I'd do a review post of my pregnancy so I can remember back through these past 39 weeks.

Telling the fam we're having a baby! (Day after Thanksgiving 2013)

36 weeks-a couple weeks apart in pregnancy with my amazing friend Pattyanne! So fun to be prego at the same time and our other two are really close in age too! BFF's :)

39 weeks

And here I am, 39 weeks. 5 days to go. I'm DESPERATELY hoping to go into labor on my own this time. I was induced with my other two pregnancies and I would love the experience to spontaneously go into labor! Last night I was up until 3am timing contractions. Since 6pm-3am they were consistently averaging 6 minutes apart and getting stronger but not closer together. I really thought "this is it!" but finally got some shut eye around 3am, still getting woken up by contractions until 4:30am but then when I woke up at 7:30 they were pretty fizzled out :(. This was the first time this pregnancy
I was really having consistent contractions like that so I was pretty bummed when I woke up and didn't have a baby. haha.

I started getting "checked" at 36 weeks and each week have gotten about a cm bigger. So at my 39 week appointment she said I was almost a 4 and really soft with him really low. I scheduled an induction for 40weeks3days (next Wednesday) if it doesn't happen before then but I'm praying it will!

I'm super excited about going un-medicated on purpose this time. That's partially why I want to go into labor so much on my own as well.

How am I feeling? Besides anxious these days, I'm feeling ok. I have been having really awful sciatic nerve pains down my legs which has been so not fun and really sore feet but besides those things I'm good. I think that exercizing this pregnancy has done wonders and I've felt so much better in many ways. Here's to hoping to meet baby boy #3 soon!
